Cyprus hopes as “many boats as possible” will leave its shores to take aid to Gaza as a second ship waits to depart from Larnaca, Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos said on Thursday.

Commander of Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF) General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, also known as Hemedti, arrived in Tripoli  today where he met the prime minister of the Government of National Unity (GUN) of Libya, Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, with whom he had “fruitful and constructive” discussions on developments in Sudan, according to a statement by Dagalo via X.

February 21, Opposition supporters in Albania protest alleged corruption in Cabinet

 


Thousands of supporters of Albania’s opposition held an anti-government protest in Tirana on Tuesday accusing the Cabinet of corruption. The protest, which ended peacefully, also marked 33 years since the toppling of the main statue of the country’s late communist dictator, Enver Hoxha. (Feb. 20)
