Protesting Greek farmers as of 6 pm on Tuesday are blocking the Evzoni border crossing for entry into Greece. Passenger and cargo vehicles are being let in every half hour for ten minutes.

It is extremely hard for Greece to accept that five years was not enough time to replace people's passports, Greek diplomatic sources commented on the issuance of new travel documents in North Macedonia bearing the new name of the country and added that Skopje had not contacted Athens to ask for any deadline extensions, MIA's Athens correspondent reports.

Attending a forum on Chinese and Russian influence in the Balkans held in the US on Wednesday, North Macedonia’s Deputy Prime Minister in charge of good governance policies, Slavica Grkovska, said that US partnership is key in dealing with malign influences in the Balkan region, Skopje’s government press service reported.

With 65 votes in favor and 3 votes against, Talat Xhaferi has been elected prime minister of North Macedonia. He is the first Albanian to be elected prime minister in RMV.
