US forces carried out a helicopter raid in northern Syria on
September 28, capturing an “ISIS facilitator” named Ibrahim al-haji Shaykh, US
Central Command said on Saturday. This is the latest helicopter raid by US
forces in Syria and appears to be part of an increase of these types of
operations.
