Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey plan to conclude a cooperation agreement for demining the Black Sea next week, Bulgarian Defense Minister Todor Tagarev announced Thursday evening, quoted by EFE.

NATO Deputy Secretary General Mircea Geoană travelled to Bulgaria on Friday (10 November 2023) for the annual exercise “Iron Strike” conducted by the NATO multinational battle group stationed in the country. 

Romanian Naval Forces will conduct “Sea Breeze 23.3” exercises in the Black Sea



The naval forces of Romania, together with the US Naval forces, organized multinational naval exercises named “Sea Breeze 23.3”, scheduled to take place from 11 September to 15 September in the Black Sea near the Danube Delta.

According to the press service of the Romanian Naval Forces, military personnel from the US, Bulgaria, France, the United Kingdom, Romania, Türkiye, and Ukraine will also participate in the exercises.

"We know that alternative ways are currently being sought for grain export. However, we also see that these ways cannot be an alternative to the original initiative and contain risks," Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said on Friday at a news conference with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba in the capital Kyiv.
