Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani and Turkish President Recep Tayyip

Thursday, the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, welcomed
the resumption of work of the Higher Military Commission (HMC.)
An
unidentified, one-way attack drone struck Harir Air Base northeast of Erbil at
4:29 p.m. and caused an explosion, with possible damages and casualties unknown
at this time, according to the Kurdistan Region Counter Terrorism Directorate
(CTD).
The
Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) on Friday carried out an attack on Turkish
troops in the Kurdistan Region, killing three and injuring four others,
Turkey’s defense ministry announced.
President
Nechirvan Barzani of the Kurdistan Region joined the official festivities
today, Sunday, commemorating the centenary of the founding of the Turkish
Republic and Turkish National Day.
