Cyprus said on Tuesday it was in discussions with Lebanon over the return of 116 Syrian migrants rescued off its coast after Beirut refused to accept them back.

Israeli media reported on Thursday that a significant arms agreement has been formalized between the United States and Israel. The deal encompasses the delivery of a substantial quantity of F-35 and F15 fighter jets, along with Apache combat helicopters, to Tel Aviv.
