January 28 - Talat Xhaferi is voted as the first Albanian Prime Minister in North Macedonia

With 65 votes in favor and 3 votes against, Talat Xhaferi has been elected prime minister of North Macedonia. He is the first Albanian to be elected prime minister in RMV.

For the first time, North Macedonia is expected to be temporarily led by an Albanian
