 Turkey and Israel will soon begin taking joint steps in energy drilling, President Tayyip Erdogan was cited by Turkish media as saying on Thursday, adding the two countries would also operate energy networks to Europe through Turkey.

On September 8, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported that the Russian Federation announced the so-called elections to the local occupation administrations in the temporarily occupied parts of the territories of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions of Ukraine, as well as the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, to be held on September 8-10.
