As Central
Greece starts to recover from the deadly floods caused by Storm Daniel,
authorities are coming under scrutiny for their lack of preparation and failure
to implement EU directives on flood management.
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has sent aid and 5,000
body bags to flood-stricken Libya, where 10,000 people are still missing in the
wake of hurricane-strength Storm Daniel.
The third
and fourth planes from the Qatari airbridge arrived at Benina International
Airport in Benghazi to help those affected by floods and torrents in eastern
Libya.
In response
to the devastating storm that struck Libya, three military transport planes
loaded with humanitarian aid departed Cairo.
