Manbij, Syria.
The Manbij Military Council (MMC), affiliated with the Syrian
Democratic Forces (SDF), said on Monday that Turkish forces targeted the
village of Tokhar Saghir in northern Manbij, northern Syria, with a drone,
resulting in the injury of one resident.
Manbij and other cities bordering Turkey in northern Syria are bombarded repeatedly by Turkish forces, mostly targeting infrastructure facilities and populated villages. These attacks often lead to casualties among residents and damage to their properties.
The MMC stated that a small drone targeted the village of Tokhar Saghir,
located in the northern countryside of Manbij.
MMC further added that this attack coincided with artillery shelling of the
populated village of Awn Dadat in the northern countryside of Manbij.
North Press correspondent in Manbij reported that a 40-year-old civilian
named Saleh al-Jasim was injured as a result of the Turkish forces targeting
the village of Tokhar Saghir in the countryside of Manbij.
