A Turkish drone targeted on Wednesday a checkpoint belonging to the
Internal Security Forces (Asayish) on a road connecting the cities of Qamishli
and Hasakah, northeastern Syria.
Informed sources told North Press that a Turkish drone struck an Asayish checkpoint near the village of Kavre Spi, located on the M4 Highway between the cities of Qamishli and Hasakah.
The targeting was limited to material damage, according to the sources.
The Asayish is yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
