Military vehicles of the U.S.-led Global Coalition in northern Syria

More than seven rockets rocked on Friday a military base of the U.S.-led Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS in the countryside of Hasakah, northeast Syria.
North Press correspondent reported that over seven explosions were heard near the Kharab al-Jir base in the town of Rmelan in the east of Qamishli.
The correspondent said the rockets were likely fired from Iraqi territory, adding that no details about damages were shared.
Since the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war on Oct. 7, attacks have surged against U.S. bases in Syria and Iraq, for which the so-called Islamic Resistance in Iraq, a coalition of Iranian-backed militias, has claimed responsibility.
