Mona Ezz was crowned Miss Elegant 2024 during the closing ceremony of the
beauty pageant in its 9th session in one of the hotels in Cairo.
Nada Ahmed was named first runner-up and Nouran Essam was second runner-up. The competition also gave honorary titles, namely: Miss Tourism title, which was handed to Nihal Raafat, and Miss Teen Elegant to Jana Khairat, while Samar Abo el-Ezz received the title of MRS Egypt.
Moreover, Juileh Adel Ali won the title of Miss Egypt Sixties, Iman Ahmed
won the title of Miss Elite, Malak Ahmed won the title of Miss Fitness, and
Jana Khaled won the title of Miss Sports.
Up to 750 girls applied through social media for this year's competition,
and the qualifying stages were completed through social media interviews over a
period of 3 months.
The juries chose only 16 girls out of the hundreds of contestants who competed for the title of Miss Elegant.
The members of the jury consisted of the head of the competition Mahmoud
Nagah, stars Amr Ramzy and Basant Al-Nabrawy. The juries also included the Life
Coach Tamer Shalaby, and the Public Presence Coach and behavior analyst Reham
El-Hawari.
Nagah pointed out that the competition depends on elegance of thought,
mind, and style before the outer beauty, as beauty standards differ from one
woman to another.
He added that the criteria for choosing the queen includes several criteria's including education, tact, ambition, charitable work, and tourism promotion.
It is noteworthy that the competition chose the late actress Souad Hosni,
nicknamed the "Cinderella" of Arab Cinema, to be the honorary icon of
the contest, where an award of appreciation was received by her sister Jihan.
Nessmaher el shagheer was the presenter of the event, while Judy Rehim, who
is Miss Elegant 2022, performed chilling songs during the beauty pageant.
