European Commission President Ursula Von Der Leyen, during the press conference at the end of the Berlin Process summit, was asked if there will be sanctions against Serbia in connection with the September 24 attack in Banjska.

She emphasized that they are waiting for the end of the investigation on the event to make a decision afterwards.

"There must be a full investigation so that we can then take a stand. We are waiting for the investigation data and we will decide later", she said.

The President of the European Commission, Ursula Von der Leyen, delivered her speech during the joint conference with Prime Minister Edi Rama and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz within the framework of the Berlin Process Summit in Tirana.

Among other things, the president of the EC stated that we must double the potential and the economy of the Western Balkans, as well as give pace to EU reforms.

"Last year I said that the Berlin process will be in good hands and I was right. Despite this optimism, much remains to be done. We need to speed up EU reforms. To increase and double the potential and economy for the Western Balkans. Therefore, we must include the Balkans towards the common market in 7 important points. The EU needs to complete what is the regional common market. The EU countries must first open up to each other and fully open up in terms of the economy," Von Der Leyen said, among other things.
