MP of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) Vladimir Djukanovic proposed that Serbia halt the process of its European integration.
In a post
on the X social media platform Djukanovic said that all ambassadors of European
Union (EU) member countries should be notified about this decision.
“A memo
should be sent to all ambassadors of EU member countries informing them that
the Republic of Serbia is terminating its European integration process. All EU
institutions and offices in Serbia should be notified that there is no need to
continue any activities related to Serbia’s European integration process.
Exclusively bilateral relations should be developed with all EU member
countries,” Djukanovic wrote.
