The Council
of Ministers allocated BGN 1 million to finance the implementation in 2023 of a
programme to support the organizations of the Bulgarian communities in Albania,
Serbia, Kosovo, Ukraine and Moldova and of citizens of the Republic of North
Macedonia with Bulgarian self-awareness, the government information service
said.
The programme opens up opportunities to support Bulgarian communities abroad, which are an integral part of the Bulgarian people. Its main objective is to integrate Bulgarian citizens abroad into the state and public life in Bulgaria, to preserve the Bulgarian identity and promote the positive image of Bulgaria.
