The police
have seized over 26 kilograms of cannabis narcotics near the Greek-Albanian
border, in Kapshtica.
Sources indicate that the operation carried out by the Greek border police began with the control of a residence owned by a Greek citizen, where 27 packages of cannabis with a total weight of 26.2 kilograms were found.
The
investigation shows that two Albanian citizens brought this quantity of drugs
into Greece in the early hours of yesterday through a vehicle and then took it
to the apartment of the 36-year-old Greek.
The vehicle
was found in Follorina and inside it the driver and passenger, Albanians aged
32 and 37. Inside the vehicle there were improvised places for
transporting drugs.
