The Former
Prime Minister Sali Berisha is determined not to stop the opposition action,
despite the request of the Special Prosecutor's Office for the imposition of
the security measure "house arrest" against him.
The democratic leader, who after the vote in the Assembly is without the immunity of the deputy, emphasized that they want to imprison him, according to him without any evidence and facts, but declared that he is never defeated.
"In
the eyes of the whole world, the seal of the DP is stolen, when the
overwhelming majority of the democrats in two elections and 3 referendums have
chosen Sali Berisha as their leader. Because of the horror they have of him,
Sali Berisha's name is banned from the ballot.
Now they
want to imprison me, but the truth is that they have no evidence or facts and
they never will. I am not accused, but a person under investigation and after 3
years of investigations they have not found any evidence, proof or fact against
me.

Berisha, with the power of the truth I am never defeated", said the former
prime minister at the meeting of the National Council.
