The Levica
political party submitted a petition for an extraordinary inspection to the
State Educational Inspectorate, regarding the operation of the acting principal
at the “Brakja Miladinovci” elementary school in Struga.
Levica published scandalous photos of the school, where students and teachers were photographed in front of maps of “Greater Albania”, which represents open irredentism and the spread of inter-ethnic hatred.
“Such
behavior is not appropriate for an educational institution in the country and
is in contradiction with Art. 9 of the Law on Basic Education.
Levica
previously demanded the immediate dismissal of the acting principal, about whom
there are doubts that she was illegally appointed by Struga’s Mayor Ramiz
Merko,” said the Levica opposition party, according to local media.
