On September 8, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported that the Russian Federation announced the so-called elections to the local occupation administrations in the temporarily occupied parts of the territories of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions of Ukraine, as well as the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, to be held on September 8-10.

Reports are surfacing that a KILO class submarine under the command of the Russian Navy has potentially been targeted by Ukraine in Sevastopol, as asserted by submarine expert H I Sutton in a tweet, although confirmation remains pending at this juncture.

Since Russia began military operations in Syria, against the terrorist proxy forces of NATO and the Gulf states, ubiquitous reports in the Western media have emerged which claim that Russia has killed and targeted civilians. Yet a large proportion of these news organisations that apparently are at the pinnacle of journalism in the West, are publishing reports that are often based on one or two very  dubious (to say the least) sources.
