More than 750 journalists from dozens of news organizations have signed an
open letter published Thursday, condemning Israel’s killing of reporters in the
Gaza Strip and criticizing Western media’s coverage of the war.
A new statement issued by the Al-Qassam Combat Brigades, the main military
branch of Hamas, reported the destruction of two Israeli Army (IDF) tanks near

conflict if the radical Palestinian movement Hamas is ‘on its last legs,’ the
New York Times reported, citing a Lebanese official.
One of the
Hamas commanders was eliminated in the city of Jebaliya in the north of the
Gaza Strip, the press service of the Israel Defense Forces said.

Moussa Abu Marzouk, a senior Hamas member on Friday, in a statement to
Al-Arabiya TV, announced a set of conditions for the release of Israeli
captives, among them a ceasefire, as he led a delegation that held talks with a
top Iranian diplomat in Moscow.
Representatives of Hamas and Iran are in Moscow Thursday for talks,
Russia's foreign ministry said.
