Skopje’s Army General Staff considering new military aid to Ukraine

Skopje.

A few weeks ago, Ukraine has asked North Macedonia for new military aid, and their request is being considered by the General Staff of the Army. 

North Macedonia is at the same level as Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Indonesia and Moldova in the latest list of the Rule of Law Index

In the most recent global Rule of Law Index by the World Justice Project (WJP), the Republic of North Macedonia ranks 67th among 142 countries in terms of its adherence to the rule of law.

In a speech on the occasion of the Day of the Macedonian Revolutionary Struggle and the 130th anniversary of VMRO here on Monday, VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski said that no one has the right to present VMRO as theirs, particularly one of the neighbouring countries.

The fresco paintings found inside St George's church in North Macedonia are a rare example of Byzantine art in the Balkan region. The governments of North Macedonia and Greece - alongside the European Centre for Byzantine Monuments - have agreed to ensure the preservation of the frescoes.

The Bulgarian government has provided 500.000 levs (256.000 euros) for financing projects for Bulgarian communities in Albania, Serbia, Kosovo, Ukraine, Moldavia including civic organizations in North Macedonia with Bulgarian orientation.
